Getting to Macquarie University

If you wish to drive, casual parking on campus costs $19 per day.  Casual parking locations are highlighted in yellow on the campus map.

Getting Set Up

So that we can set you up with system access and start paying you in a timely fashion, please also bring your tax file number, banking details and one form of original identification (eg passport or birth certificate) on your first day.  Human Resources will collect this information and use it to finalise your details in our payroll system, and grant you access to systems.

Email

Email at Macquarie University is powered by Gmail. Gmail works in a similar way to other email systems you may have used previously and because it supports open standards, such as IMAP, you can also use it with your favourite desktop mail application.

Gmail offers excellent reliability and lots of space for email storage. It is on the Internet and can therefore be accessed from anywhere around the world. Login via http://email.mq.edu.au using your OneID. Your OneID will be issued to you by your supervisor when you start.
