HR Online
HR Online provides access to your personal employee information, current and previous pay slips, pay calendar, leave details and current leave balances. You can also update your personal details and emergency contacts.

Enterprise Agreement
Employment at Macquarie University is subject to the Enterprise Agreement. This document guides all our working conditions, rights and responsibilities as staff members of the University.
Staff Health and Safety
Macquarie University is committed to the health and well-being of its staff members. The Health and Safety website provides information and resources to help you be healthy and safe at work.
If you are ever injured at work, you need to fill out an online accident/injury notification form via the Health & Safety website.
Pay and Super
The University pays staff fortnightly in arrears. A link to the pay calendar can be found on the Human Resources homepage. If you have any queries about your pay, speak to your supervisor or Human Resources Staffing Advisor.
A generous 17% employer’s superannuation is paid to continuing and fixed term staff on contracts of 2 years or more. Casuals and fixed-term staff with contracts under 2 years are paid 9% employer’s superannuation. All superannuation entitlements for staff members are paid to Unisuper, the University’s superannuation provider.
You can also elect to salary sacrifice a proportion of your pay into superannuation. Speak with your Human Resources Staffing Advisor for more information about this option.
EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a 24/7, voluntary and confidential counseling service for staff and their immediate family members. The Program is provided by an independent organisation and is fully funded by the University to a total of 6 sessions per person/family.

PDR
The Performance Development & Review (PDR) process offers a consistent way to identify and assess your contribution to the achievement of the University's Strategic Plan.
It is a continuous process in which supervisors and staff work together towards agreed outcomes by:
- planning individual work and development goals for the next 12 months
- discussing progress against performance and development goals
- discussing achievements in work and development over the year.
During your first month, you should meet with your Supervisor about setting your first PDR plan.
Staff Web
The staff portal is a gateway to staff news, resources and information.
Staff Card
Your Staff Card (Campus Card) shows your staff number, which you will need to quote on various forms. It is also your library card. Keep it on you around the campus, as you’ll need to present it to security and other staff when seeking access to secured buildings and other business related matters.

Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct confirms that commitment and outlines the expectations that can be made of all staff of Macquarie University. As a member of the Macquarie University community, all staff are expected to perform their duties and conduct the academic and business activities of the University with efficiency, fairness, impartiality, integrity, honesty, and compassion.
